About project...

Project HARVEST "Holistic Approach to Regional Vocational Sector-based Training" is financed by the Leonardo da Vinci programme. It is addressed to small and medium enterprises in agro-food, agro-tourism and wood sectors; however, products prepared may be adapted by companies from other sectors. The main aim of the project is helping the entrepreneurs in overcoming barriers in their international expansion through giving tools to improve quality of their activities. The following activities were done within the framework of the project:
  • Survey Report on language competences of Malopolska SMEs
  • Roadmap for entrepreneurs www.biznesporadnik.pl with information concerning language and culture training for companies and some export opportunities
  • 4 conferences on cultural and language differences in business
  • business English training materials in the form of phrase-book with recorded lessons and glossary
  • English for Entrepreneurs training session (testing prepared materials)

In addition to Malopolska Agency for Regional Development three partners are involved: East of England Development Agency, Agriculture Chamber and Vocational School of Bacs Kiskun region in Hungary and Bulgarian Association of Regional Development Agencies.
